Man that kick is loud.....:D

I think for what it is, you've got a good driving beat going, and the melody parts add good depth...and overall, it's just a fun song....could go in one of those goofy SNL skits or something....it's gonn make you smile....:D

This needs a sub woofer....:D

Dogman, thanks for listening and commenting. I appreciate you listening. :)

Well, it took me a while to record vox and to let others hear it. The song is supposed to be an innocent first song using house'ish beats. :)

Thanks again for listening. :)

Sounds more eighties. Don't really like the synth stuff you used and the vocals seem a bit buried in reverb.

I would use some different synth sounds but thats just me.

Still a cool chord progression and feel.

Hey DAS thanks for listening. :) I appreciate your comments.

80s? Probably. I listened to more house back then. :) Synth no likey? This is the first time that's been mentioned. I'll see if any of the other presets do the job. I think this may have been one I synth'd with the controls.

Vox are buried in verb, 'coz it was hard to sing in tune and on time so verb and delay helped. I may redo them.

You didn't have a prob with the piano'ish or electronic piano'ish sounds. Just the main melody synth, right?

Hi there,

For what its worth, I enjoyed it!

I wonder if it would sound good putting some some mashed up effects on the vocals - maybe a vocoder? i dunno, the current vocals just didn't unreal enough to fit in with the rest of the song - just my personal taste.

The Piano part sounds sweet and the song had me tapping my feet - felt like a more modern take on of one of the cool tracks that used to play when C64 was loading up.

Good stuff,

Nick

Hey bigbubba, just enjoying this tune with my morning coffee :D Definitely a dance tune extraordinaire. It reminds me that the Christmas parties are in full swing now! I like all the different synth things - especially the one that has that "telephone" effect. The mix is good - seems to be balanced and panned well to me. Singing is nice touch - just added here and there is a nice arangement.

:D:):D:)

Hey Nick, thanks for listening and commenting. :) I appreciate it.

Software based vocoders haven't worked well in the past, but I might use that in the future. :)

Glad you like it.

Ido, thanks for listening and commenting. :) I appreciate your input.

Gald you like it and glad you like all parts. :) Singing was hard because of lack of self confidence and lack of singing capability. Also the vox were recorded with the music playing in the background and the directional mic pointing away from music recording vox. But the track is not clean.

Anyway, it was hard to play it for others. :)

80's/nintendo music. I like it though, nothing wrong with the synth sounds to me. Don't know what else to say other than it's a fun song to listen to.

Most of the synth sounds sound like synths - I much prefer them to sound that way. This would have had a scwillion people dancing in a club.

Hey English Muffin/Bubba, typing as listening...
not the biggest fan of just the straight beat in the intro... once the piano enters sounds good.
The lead synth that comes in shortly after sounds cool, very catchy. Ha, got a chuckle out of the lyrics.
Yeah, definitely a catchy tune, dig it :)

RayC, thanks for listening and commenting. I appreciate it. :)

Now to figure out where scwillion is!

Hey SD-man, thanks for listening and commenting. :) I appreciate it.

The lead in was kind of bland. Didn't know how to start it. Then kinda started likin' it that way. :)

heh this reminds me of the e-fuelled nightclub rages they show on naked Wild On...exotic beach locations featuring lots of inebriated young ladies...what s/w sequencer do you use for the electronic stuff?

Bulls thanks for listening and commenting. :)

I appreciate it. Wild On? Exotic? Inebriated? Hehe.

Primarily just use FLStudio 4. Occassinally, ReBirth. Mostly FLStudio. SM57 for vox, Acid Pro 4 for mix down of vox and music.
