It is a great board. Check out all the different forums. There are a few experts here. Acoustics: Ethan Winer, Rod Gervais, Knightfly. There are many others, including MSHilarious, maker of the Naiant microphones. Check them out!
 
I just saw one on craigslist around here.

i hated the 688 geeeez....i had one and it was MIDI and all that programing to select a track....I'm too lazy:D

my pc setup is easier than that thing.

go to your citys CRAIGSLIST.COM...I'm thinking $300
 
I have one, got for free, but i need the manual for it...
 
free is good. a manual shouldn't be hard to download? good luck.

good luck figuring that thing out.........i think I had 10 or so multitracker's and that was the hardest, mainly the MIDI stuff which I still don't get.

free stuff....amazing...
I'll bet I paid $600-or more for that 688 new. 1992?94?

looks like $25 for a manual though. kind of steep...
