I use EZDrummer with cubase. I can only drag one pattern at a time from ezd into the daw, but use the editing tools to make duplicates. Alt-Click is copy and drag; Shift-Click is to select multiple patterns (in the DAW, not EZD).
So i drag one pattern over from ezd to cubase, alt-click and drag a copy to the next measure, then shift-click to select both, then alt-click again to copy both patterns to the next two measures. That quickly there's four from one. just keep doing it until you have a somg done. Then I go back and edit to add variation to my drum patterns. (that's the fun part.) I leave "snap to grid" on, so it aligns with the measures.
Is this what you were asking???
