And c'mon, that's a nice photoshop job. Do you know how hard it was to get all of that other lettering out of there? :D

Cool, as long as you weren't spreading poison again thats good. :D

Those Variax have a place too but as you say it's entirely in the hands of the player. That guitar will hopefully serve Marshall4O9 well until he decides he needs something better/different/whatever, it's all good. Lets not forget that despite a lot of the vitriol thats gone on here or over there in the last few weeks, in the end it's all just about moving air. :)

hahahahah nice one. ill have to play some more gibsons next time im up at the guitar store. ive only played a few, and to be honest, i dont remember them being significantly better than this.

thanks for the compliments. the first thing my mom and bro said when i showed them was the beautiful top.

That's all that matters, man. It's a great looking guitar...if it plays well to boot, then there's nothing more to say other than "congrats!!"

I love that style of guitar, and wish I had one.

However, a buddy of mine got one similar to that, and when I get to jammin too hard.... I end up hitting that switch.

Is there a style like that made with the switch in a different spot?

mine does:

but it was the last one at SamAsh (brownsville gg1)

I like the Agile above, looks like a deal. I also like the headstock shape (and I usually don't really like most of them - i like gibson shape just for itself, not for the name, and really hate martin/taylor/washburn type shapes, epi i can live with, but agile i like better)

Agile necks rule, and their fret job is pristine. Soon I'll be grabbing one too :D Congrats, hope you enjoy it for a long time!

what tasty-looking guitars those agiles. and frankly i like the shape of that cutaway better than gibby. it just looks proper, i dunno.

maybe someday...
