Hey Harvey-- big ups to you for a nice job on the above mentioned piece! Nice shout-outs to Naiant and to this forum (in the context of discussing the MoreMes).

Very cool to read that about the amazing list of artists you worked with (including, but not limited to: Dylan, the Byrds, Hendrix, Zappa, the Dead, the Doors, Janis Joplin etc.) and that you co-wrote some songs with Roger (aka Jim) McGuinn!

Some great little tips on miking and gear choice as well (much of the same wisdom you're shared here, but a good read in any case) :)

It's in "aM Mag the audioMIDI.com Magazine" a magazine/catalog that audioMidi.com (a music retailer) sent out (I've bought some stuff from there obviously). The interviewer is Doug Edge. I'm surprised they didn't at least send you a copy!
 
I didn't see it online, so I guess it's in print only. I remember talking to Doug, but I didn't know what they might print.
 
Can you scan and post it ? I would love to read it also.

sorry i missed this-- i'll try, but our bunny rabbit kind of destroyed our printer/scanner/copier, so i might not be able to. it looks like some folks in the cave had received and read this too (there's a thread there)-- maybe one of them can scan it for you (?)

Yup, they not only scanned it, they did a PDF for me. It's over in The Cave. Thanks.
 
Magalog? Now that's a word I'll use again.

It's getting tougher to tell the magalogs from the magazines. (See? I told you I would.)

Since you're hanging out here a little bit MJ, It'd be swell to see a Harvey & Alex Gerst interview in TO-- you don't hear of too many father/son recording tandems... also, "Behind the Gear" with Naiant Jon?
