I took my Marshall in today to Long and McQuade. I need the repair technician to check my amp and let me know why it hums so much (both channels), even with nothing plugged in.
Right now that tech is up to his neck in work, so mine will have to wait until they get the warranty work done first. They aren't normally taking anything except warranty work due to the overload but they did take mine anyway! I had the tubes done a while back and that may be causing the hum, but who knows?
Just thought I'd post a positive feedback on L& M because they 've always had great sales people, great technicians and excellent managers (Earl) over the 20 or more years I've shopped there. I just wish I could buy more but I have limited funds....
They're opening a new superstore in Southeast Edmonton soon - can't wait to check it out!
Thanks Guys!
