Selling my most priced possession.

Klein+Hummel O-198 model, US version suited only for 110-115V. This is the previous model to the current O-300D model, so no internal DA converter. This model was introduced in 2000.

- 3" Fabric soft-dome midrange driver - I believe they used ATC SM75-150 mid driver in this model.
- 1" Titanium-alloy dome tweeter
- Bass amp 100W at 4 ohms
- Mid amp 50W at 8 ohms
- HF amp 50W at 6 ohms
- Crossover 650 Hz & 3.3 kHz (18dB octave)
- Free-field frequency response is 45 Hz - 20 kHz (+- 2dB)
- Magnetically shielded
- Size 15" x 10" x 11.5"

Non smoking studio use only, was never moved from the day I bought it (second hand).

He Chris, not so good, lost a lot of money in a bad deal with Russian guys, so I'm almost bankrupt now. Will have to start from zero again. Other then that, everything is well. How are you guys making out on those guitars?

Cheers

Try this one:

http://www.kleinundhummel.de/produkte/oldies/studio/dokumente/o198/o198p_g.pdf

or go to www.klein-hummel.com then clock on "More" then click on Alphabetical Product Listing (German) then click on letter "O" and then click on O-198.

To sum up this is the previous model to the current O-300D. The O-300D has slightly bigger amps built in and DA converter in the same cabinet wiht the same Driver, midrange and tweeter. The O-300D sells for about $5500 US and I think they just went up in price to $6500 US. Now I never compared mine to O-300D model, but those who have both tell me that O-198 might be even more accurate ,because smaller amps and no DA inside the cabinet create more volume. But this is all subjective. Now the only reason I'm selling is financial problems, otherwise I would take these to the grave wiht me. I've tried a lot of speakers before buying those:

ATC, Spendor, Dynaudio, Eggleston, ProAc, Adam, Mackie...... Nothing comes close.

Cheers

Shoot.....sorry to hear that (about the russian thang).

We kept the Turquoise LP Elegant and the Wine Red LP that came from a friend of yours from memory, the Desertburst Studio was in a store for a while but I brought it back home although I think it's time to put it back out for sale. Other than that, all the others sold, unfortunately the way the $ exchange rates have been we didn't really make much out of the exercise which is why I haven't worried about any more imports for the time being.

Cheers mate.

yeah the rate kind of kills it here as well, plus tons of Ebay people here now, so my guitar selling business is almost dead. Now if guys need some Ice Hockey equipment we can talk :-)

Cheers

so... I dont suppose you're still selling them are you ?
