Hey,
I found what looks to be a pretty sweet deal on the new Presonus Megastudio Producer bundle.
http://www.abesofmaine.com/item.do?item=PSNMEGASTUDIOHD
(if the link doesn't work just go to www.abesofmaine.com and search for megastudio).
It looks like they have it with a higher end version of Sony Vegas for the same price as everyone else is selling it at.

I called up and they said that they're in the process of putting together pro audio and musical instrument departments at their stores. I checked it out and they're prices are actually pretty darn good (although there's a lot of that "add item to cart stuff").
Just thought I'd pass it along. Might be worth it for someone.

If I didn't see some other posts you've made, I'd think this was spam, considering they're in your area. :D

Most of the bundled software are demo versions only, Presonus did that with the Firestudio too.

This is definitely not spam. I was trying to just pass along something good. I like Presonus's stuff and I receive their newsletter, so when I saw the release of the megastudio I started shopping around.

And also I don't think the software is demo versions. There are just a lot of LE and Lite versions as opposed to full versions. But they're not demos. Demos run out after some time. These don't. It's a good distinction to be aware of.

Anyway, I don't post often but I definitely don't spam. I have no reason to. Just a regular audiophile like everyone else.

Dude, I own two Firestudios that came with some of the software listed, and like I said before some of the software applications ARE demo's.
