Video Card Resolution

Right-click on your desktop, goto settings tab and check if that resolution is available.

That resolution is friggin huge by the way (and I thought 1280x960 was big).

I've tried going higher on mine and I'm not sure if it can mess things up. My screen just went black and I had to restart.

Check the manual that comes with the video card, it will list supported resolutions. I wouldn't recommend trial & error.

Edit: Um, maybe I misunderstood and you don't have that video card yet. If not, do a Google search for that video card and I'm sure you'll come across an online manual in PDF format.

1680 x 1050 is smaller than 2048 x 1536 so you just set the resolution in the "display" settings in the control panel to 1680 x 1050. Go to :Start>Control panel>Display>Settings and move the slider to adjust it to the correct resolution.
