Many of you might not have been born...

...when this song was hot. It's my cover of an old Classics IV song, Everyday With You Girl. My son, 13 at the time, plays the sax. Although he did it in one take, I kept goading him to do it over to get rid of the goofs....you know how kids are... He gave up the sax at the end of the school year.

I recorded this more than a year ago when I had just started dabbling in digital recording.

This cover thread is going to be FUN!!!!!!!!!

Great Job so far on all the covers everyone!

Trooo ~~ I guess I missed this one of yours, that was excellent! :D

Been out of pocket for awhile but I am determined to get my space finished and start recording again someday

anyways, most have already heard this one, but to feel like I am contributing, here was another cover of EL34's that he allowed me to sing on:

Wicked Game (Chris Isaak)

Good to be back and keep this thread alive :)

EL did an awesome job on both songs.

Thank you Cincy!!!:)

Nice take on that old 60s classic. Kind of a Ramones feel. Of course, I like any song that involves a Willie. :p

Thanks. Yeah The Ramones are my favorite band. I tried to give it a good dose of Ramones-influence. ;)

Well then let me back it up into the 60's. :p

"Henry VIII" by Hermans Hermits

Lol. Thanks. "Wipeout" is okay, but it's a little overdone. I'm gonna do that other one you recommended. ;)

This is great. True, you're awesome.

OK, here's my version of SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL

Oh man RAMI~! This is one of my faves that you do too...Get down Mick!!...there is nothing you have done, I don't like. Your CD has a permanent home in my CD changer...except when I take it in the Van!!!

The 70's song is sooooo awesome..and genius!!!

Thank you RAMI....I still love you.:)

Oh and the guitars kick ass on that and the crowd!!!

Paint it Black!!!!:D

You are welkom.:)

Oh yah...that is my favorite over wipeout even~!!! I can't wait...my ears are watering...:D:eek:

Yeah Rami's stuff is great. I'm jealous of his mad skillz. Great everything. He writes good stuff too.

Wasn't that originally done by Herman Hermits...?

No, "Henry VIII" was (I think) an old british variety-show type song. Like a vaudeville act or something. Hermans Hermits made it famous when they did it in the 60's. I made it rock when I did it a few months ago. :p

Everybody posting stuff in this thread is a true star. And so I've written this song for each and every one of you. :p
