I think I am both horrified by and intruiged by Russian hip hop. Considering I don't like the genre to begin with, though, I feel it can only make things worse.

I have no idea what his post was about (although I'm sure it had something to do with how brilliant and smart Southside Glen is, and how noble of a cause he is furthering with his passing of his supreme knowlege to the recording masses -- Oh yea ... and something about baseball and strikes. I'm very new here, so my opinion doesn't carry very much weight at all. I've seen and comments from both of you. Chessrock's tell it like it is attitude is actually quite refreshing.. hate to make such a stupid "cliché" comparison but it's almost like all the saps on american idol that won't know they can't sing until someone is straight up with them and almost mean... now could they learn? probably.

I don't think he means to be discouraging but it's nice to know that you have a long way to go sometimes.


southside takes a different approach and gives very very detailed information.. YOu can use this info to hopefully get a firmer grasp on all the "shit" that chessrock was talking about..

Personally i don't see super lots wrong with a little self advertising.. we all need to make a few bucks to pay the bills right? Now this can get out of hand obviously.. (not saying that southside is doing that... as i said i'm new... only been here a couple months)


anyways, I think you both contribute something important to this community. I've learned alot so far and hopefully my recordings will be better because of it.

Guy's - I am new to this site and WAS kind of excited about finding somewhere that I might be able to learn a thing or two about home recording. There have been plenty of peeps on this site who have been wonderful and share their expierience, thoughts and knowledge.

This is totally none of my business, but you would both do yourselves and everyone else on this site a huge favor by simply not hitting the REPLY button so much.

The majority of us here are just looking to gain knowledge from others expieriences, we really don't need to waste our time reading through your petty little arguments.

Then don't. Nobody is forcing you to read this thread. This is something that's been building for over two years now, it had to be done and done in the open, and you have just been unfortunate enough to come in at it's climax.

I apologize for my part of this stupidity. I'm not proud of this episode, but my hand was forced and I had to do what I had to do to put an end to it.

It's hopefully over now. Chessrock decided to do the right thing after all and back off by using the ignore list option offered before. I'm hoping that the ignore list means his stalking and harassment is over after more than two years. Which means I will also back off him now too as I promised I would do.

But the gloves remain off; if he should decide any time in the future to pick up where he left off and cancel the detente, then all bets are off.
