How to get a virtual instrument to work in ProTools Le?

I just downloaded the XLN Audio's "Addictive Drums" (Demo version). It is a small limited version of the full virtual instrument. I installed the AD application, and then opened ProTools. I then started a new session, then created an instrument track, and under "inserts" I went to "instruments" and saw the "click, Reason, and Xpand!" virtual instruments that came with my ProTools Le.

Do I have to somehow import the new virtual instrument into ProTools? If so how?

Thanks guys!

Michael

did you install the RTAS version?

I installed all versions. When it asked me to un-highlight any versions that I do not want to install, I left them all checked. Although I do not remember is RTAS was among the choices. How can I check?

I just un-installed and quickly re-installed to check, and yes I did install VST and RTAS versions.

try looking under mono and stereo...and also multi-mono and multi-channel.
