If anyone is finding it hard to find Insulation to fill their panels.. I was reading SoS, and they mentioned that they used rockwool from Wickes. Ive been looking for rockwool for a while, but im not too sure if this is the right stuff to be using?

30mm, that's like just over an inch. I'm sure it's pretty good, but you'll get much better value for money with something like Rocksilk. Check out at Travis Perkins, ROCKSILK UNIVERSAL SLAB RS45 50MM X 1200MM (600MM) at £27.23(get someone in a trade to buy it for cheaper). There are 20 Travis Perkins in London, so you shouldn't have much trouble getting it. And here are the coefficients:

125 250 500 1kHz 2kHz 4kHz NRC
50mm
0.25 0.65 1.00 1.00 1.00 0.95 0.96
100mm
0.80 1.00 1.00 1.00 1.00 1.00 1.00

Build the cloud just like any other panel, unless you're worried about it falling, then just wrap the stuff in fabric, like this. Also, i meant to say, it's £27.23 for a pack of 10. :D

Is a cloud important for a control room? Also, shouldnt they be angled?
Why would absorptive material be angled? The only reason I can see to angle anything in the first reflection points, is to reflect the sound to the back of the room. Absorptive material wont reflect.

And a cloud is certainly important in a CR. the first reflection points should be treated, ie the side walls and ceiling. So to find the best placement for the treatment, sit in your mixing position, and get someone hold a mirror on the side walls and ceiling and move it until you can see the front face of your speakers.
