Questions about small control room

Hi all. I am new to this forum and I was looking for some info on small control rooms. What are the problems acoustically (if any) w/ a 7 x 13 foot w/ 9 ceiling. I want to build a project studio in my garage and I am working w/ very limited space. (18x18 yikes!). I want to have twwo rooms ( conrol and studio) I figure I would be better off compromising the size in the control room rather than the studio. Someone pleases correct my ignorance if I am backwards.
