Has anyone tried this? I figure it would be really cheap, using sound blankets and some cheap ceiling hooks? If acoustics were equivalent, I would prefer this to the pvc frame idea spoken of in other threads for greater ease of storage. I was also thinking of hanging the blankets in two layers for added effect. Any thoughts on how effective this would be and how to optimize this?
FYI: I record vocals in a long narrow(4 ft wide) hallway a foot in front of a wooden door with built in slits(looks like horizontal blinds). My ceiling is about 12 ft tall. I was thinking the blankets should hang down to my waist(is this long enough?). I record here to avoid computer fan noise and noise from the outside.
