Okay, I'm tired of waiting and the mods are probably fed up with the last one and all that so I'm starting one here. Here's the rules and I'll keep it simple....

We get 12 options in a Poll so the first 12 posts in this thread with links go on the Poll in a new thread which I will create .

Then I give it a few days for everyone to vote in the Poll. I'm not waiting a month to see who wins. If we only get 5 votes so be it. If we have a 12 way tie then everyone's a winner. Post the victory in your sig if you like. I got no prizes - this is all for recognition/prestige unless someone feels like chucking in something for the winner - they can arrange shipping and handling. So vote early and vote often.

Private Poll so we can't see who votes for who - so nobody has to vote for their friend if they like a different song. If Chater La wants to decide who's aliasing that's fine. I don't care if you get all your family and pets to sign up to vote for you.

I'll close the thread after a few days then the winner is declared PDQ.

I'm entering this one too so the first 11 slots get on the poll. I'll do everything as quick as I can so we don't get too bored waiting.

Please don't PM me unless you want to pay me money for doing this!

This coming Monday (May 2, 2011) marks a week for submissions. I'll give everybody the weekend to finish up any songs they want to submit then I'll close submissions - even if we don't have the full 12. Then we'll get on with a quick vote and declare the winner(s).

You know what else might be cool just so as for the newbies can also have a learning experience out of this is to ........

Provide the studio sheet with the entries.

Inventory the instruments/amps etc. along with what microphones where used on what source and preamps that were used then the DAW and converters ......... you get the picture.

Heck. I would like to know as well how each song when down too!

A Measure of Salt:


Gibson SG, Ash Telecaster into F3nder Hot Rd Delvxe, R0land JC120, Motionsound 1x12 miked with an MD421. Lead guitar is a Fender Strat into a Fender Deluxe Reverb into an MD421. Acoustic is a Guild dreadnought into MXL 603s. Vocal mic is a MXL V67-G, pre is a FMR RNP. Bass is split between a direct signal into a Jo3Meek Tw1nQ and a Bass Pod. Snare: 421 on the batter side and an MSH1 on the resonant head. Toms: Shoore 5M57. OH: MXL603s. Room: Studio Pr0jects B1. Kick: D112. Various effects and an ebow, metric shit-ton of plugs, notably the Sonitus LA-2A on vocals and guitars. Using a black lion modified M0TU 89sixHD. Recorded in a 9'x14' Tuffshed.

Edit: I strongly dislike the fact that product names in my post link to AF user reviews. There. Please accept my alternate spellings.
