Hi there i need Help for recording Vocals. We recorded for our first Album and i noticed that our singer lacks of Power when he sings. We did a show before 5 days and we sang like a professional singer with a lot of power in his voice.I believe that the PA system helped him a lot.
Now : Can i get that power on the studio with our mixed songs and the headphones he uses when he's recording?

thank you very much

mixed : Pandora's Box
Master : Grindhouse Studio at Athens

Make his monitor mix loud like a live show and don't give him too much of his vocal. (But don't give him too little.) Some short reverb, like a small or medium room, in his monitor mix may help.

Bouldersoundguy is spot on. Customise his monitor mix to his headphones to bring out the best in your lead singer. Too much of his voice in the cans can lead to him backing off on his power.

thank you very much.i 'll try what you said both to my next recording session.
hope you like our songs, please check the links.
