can you hook a mixer to a power mixer

Hook the main outs of the mixer into 2 channels of the powered mixer. That's it. What are you trying to do?

cause I couldn't find any "rules" for the forum other than don't freaking cuss.

It's implicit netiquette. Cross-posting to multiple forums/mailing lists/newsgroups doesn't usually get higher quality answers unless most of the target people don't read both forums. Since this is rarely the case, it mostly just wastes bandwidth and time.
