Using Guitar Rig In Protools 8

Easy guys iv just started to use Guitar rig in Pro tools 8 Le, but for some reason i can not hear the effected sound whilst in playing only the D.I sound of my guitar, even though guitar rig is showing a input and output signal running through it.
Can any one help me out on this one?

Are you using an MBox? Try messing with the mix knob. If it's all the way left,
you'll only hear whats going into the mbox, not whats coming out of pro tools.

Have you the output sent to your left and right speakers?
