i can't figure out how to upload an mp3. when i try add a file it looks like it's loading for a bit, then nothing happens.

Put it on Soundcloud or some other place where others can listen without downloading.

Try making a video if you have imovie or movie maker. Drag your mp3 file to the movie. Then use youtube to post it..

An extra few steps for no reason if you just want to post an audio file for others to hear or comment on. Welcome to the forums, look around and read a lot before giving advice!
