Rock and Roll Pt. 1 and 2

Don't know if I'd leave that last drum roll in, or the cow bell at the end. It might sound alright being faded. Think that is one of those subjective type of things. :D Sounds good to me, though I've not heard the original before, so can't comment on any similarities.

I was half way expecting Led Zeps 'Rock And Roll' there and not a hockey match breaking out. Shows my age there I'm afraid. First time I've ever heard that song outside a sporting event. Umm... Who's it by, by the way?

Im gonna trim it. Zeps Rock and Roll is in the works. Me and my son play that all the time. Thanks for listening. Oh tune was by Gary Glitter. He got busted in England I beleive for kiddie porn.

I don't think we'll hear this at too many sporting events in the future...I think the NFL has banned it?

I went to a Patriots game earlier this year and they used to play this after every touchdown. Now it is some U2 song instead.

Your version is very good. I loved the sound you got on the "Hey!" vocals...very faithful to the original...good job!

On the "Hey" part I used A Mackie doubler and a distortion plug in call Camel Crusher. Thanks for the listen. My next tune has a very unique piece of equipment in it. Yea its been banned at alot of places.

GG was my 1st international concert in about '72.
He was done for sexual assualt of minors in Vietnam I think - was trying to buy his way out of it with compensation money.
Excellent song & a good reading of it - esp the vox.
I think you played things a bit better than the original - did you use a guitar tuned to a chord & then just bottle neck it?
The original is excellent but it was/is a fairly rough diamond.
Those two drummers were really good live.

I stupid when it comes to musical terms. Bottle neck? Does that refer to slide? I didnt use a slide or anything like that. Just my fat little fingers. Tuning was just standard tuning. Unless I misunderstood your question. I dont read music and have no music training what so ever. I just play. :) Thanks again for the listening.

Never heard the original outside of little blurbs in sports events.

This sounds really cool. The drums sound really cool. Those harmonics sounds are really cool.

The guitar in general sound nice and crunchy.

This tune is easily recognizeable...pretty good drum sound. I like it....sounds sounds pretty good overall, and is just a fun tune.

I really like the bass guitar and drum sound/mix you have on this....guitar sounds cool as well...the guitar tone is a more modern take on the original...I'm playing this in the office around 15 min's to quitting time, and it's definitely getting some toes tapping!

Way cool. At work I use to hammer out the beat using a hammer or what ever tool I had in hand. A few co-workers would shout "hey" at the apropriate moment. Was alot of fun. Use to drive alot of people nuts. I miss those moments. Thanks for listening. :)
