Need to know where to go with the mix on this one. how would you change it so far aside from re-doing the vocal? The grand piano is patched through an old Phaser (MXR) I have. The bass guitar is a late '60s Teisco. Thank you

Bass is a little loud.
I think the strings should be panned away from the bass and vocals.
The piano & guitar are over treated - reverb/phaser or something so they don't stand on their own.
You really seem to have mined an early 70s MOR seam.
I half expected to look up and discover a Made For TV movie or the Littlest Hobo.
 
Alright thanks for the feedback, I kinda had a thought the bass might be a tad high. It's a spring reverb on the vocal. Anyway, when I get the chance to work on this song some more in a couple days I'll see what good changes can be made
 
It sounds real nice man. I agree it could use less reverb on the vocals, but I mean it's up to you. Great performance :D
 
This sounds much more pop-y to me than your previous stuff. Agreed about the too much reverb on vocal and that the bass is too loud, and too much of that phaser on the piano, just turn th e'mix' dial down on the pedal.
