windows 7?

Just remember 32bit OS's have a usable RAM limit of 4GB (with the exception of Windows7 Starter edition which is 2GB)

And all the different flavors of windows 7 (64bit) also have different RAM limits.

Windows 7 Home Basic (64bit) = 8GB
Windows 7 Home Premum (64bit) = 16GB
Windows 7 Pro and up (64bit) = 192GB

Keep in mind that if you don't want to drop the extra money for pro, most home projects shouldn't need much more than 8-16GB. God only knows what person needs 192. xD

Huh. I did not know that Win7 has soft limits to its RAM. Glad that I stuck with XPx64 when I updated my hardware then!

Thanks for the tip on jbridge musictech. Wasn't aware of that and was wondering what I was going to do... :)
