What do you guys thinnk about the Behringer MX9000. I think I'm about to buy one. Heard that they are great

MX9000 is the MX8000 with a built-in meter bridge, more or less.
I've had and worked with the MX8000 for 2 years, and even though it's not as bad as some people say, the preamps and EQ is its main problems.
Both preamps and eq sounds thin to my ears, and lack balls and definition.
Tip: use it if you like it, but always record through a preamp direct to tape/HDD or whatever. That way, if you step up to a better console in a couple of years, your recordings won't have any of the MX9000 sound.
