Software for Electronic MIDI drumset

hey...
i am buying some pads, and a trigger-to-midi interface soon to add on some cool eclectic sounds to my drumset. I want to run sampling software, which will be used live.

Also, for recording, how do i go about doing that?

I am getting a macbook pro 17" within the next month, so i will be using a mac, and i will be buying new software, so hopefully what i need is an intregrated into Logic or DP!!!

I like the linplug RM-IV. Has analog model sounds plus a sampler

what about a plug in for nuendo called Battery 2 ?? its a vst instrument...
