Mic to record classical flute - any ideas?

Hello List members,

I am looking for a decent mic, (under $1,000 dollars) to record a classical flute. I am looking for something that is not overly bright in the top-end and sounds warm and full bodied in the mid-low range of the instrument. Also a mic with low noise as well.

Any thoughts are welsome...
I've been thinking about the AT4060 or the AT4047 as well as the Rode K2

Thank you in advance,
Sunflute :)

K2 - if it's anything like NTK, may be a little hyped in the midrange, AT4060, I think, is a better choice, and a great vocal mic as well. Believe it or not AKG Solidtube does a very good job on woodwinds, especially with the internal foam pop filter ripped out.- Richie
