As far as an outhouse, er, outboard effect, I would try a filter of some kind to kind of thin the fart out. You don't want that farty tone so up front and in your face.

Butt ass (snick) far as compression, I would vote no. I think you're really going to want more of a roomy feel to really let that fart breathe and ring.

An overly compressed fart is so one dimensional!
 
yeah every instrument must sit in its own place in the mix. you probably need to drop the bottom and boost the presence:rolleyes:
