Usb Di_box

I have purchased a USB DI-BOX (Digitune) and am having a few troubles setting it up.
I have an older computer that is running Windows XP, when i follow the set up guide and go to use it, no sound comes out or records, all other audio programs work fine, when i did a sound test on Windows XP the red lights were registering me strumming the guitar on the input, but not the output.

make sure that your di is set as the recording input device in windows xp control panels and that the appropriate output (it sounds like it's still your pc soundcard, unless the di has one) is set correctly as well. then make sure that these are also set correctly in whatever recording program you're using-- probably in the preferences -> audio menu.
