This is the recordio that I spoke of in the thread "ever heard of a recordio". I hope I did this right. I'll hit submit and find out.

This thing actually works. I cleaned it up and did a bit of repair work and it sprung to life. It sounds pretty nice (if you don't crank it). The playback arm is missing the cartridge, but the cutter arm is complete. The circular window located below the left corner of the radio dial is the "eye" that indicates the recording level. It also works, but it is a bit dim. I'm told you can still get them and I will consider doing that, if the cost is reasonable. Kind of cool to see the old technology that they used way back when. GROOVY!
 
Can You Imagine......In the old days, you have a basement recording studio and this is the equipment you record with....and a microphone on a stand. We are spoiled. We get so picky over gear, mics, pickups and processors. This is raw. Gotta love it.
