Open vs Semi Open vs Closed Headphones

I always prefer open back for listening to music, however closed back is a must when tracking to prevent spill into the mic.

No doubt, open back are going to be more "accurate" -- But you're still covering both ears...

This ^^^^^ I should have read the question properly, I would never use headphones for mixing, but if you would like to have a listen to a mix done of monitors to see what it sounds like on headphones, open back.
