Do you connect stompbox(like ts9) before gt2?
 
No Tubescreamer or anything else. Just the GT2.

Of couse, your pickups, playing style, EQ (like you mentioned), and other guitar characteristics will play a role in your final tone.
 
I like to use two different guitars and two different amps when recording two guitar parts. In the Metallica MP3, I just used two different settings on the GT2.
 
so do you guys think the tech21 stuff has better recorded sound than the v-amp2 and pod?

i was set on the v-amp2, but now having major second thoughts...

would the tri-ac sound good through a stereo system? like a big one, not a mini-system.

I like the sound of gt2 than pod and vamp.
pod and vamp sound so digitech,and gt2 is very human feelings.
It's sound is very live.
And thank lopp again.
