Home Studio (version 2.5) - pics included

question

hey i know this post may seem kind of old.. but i was wandering what kind of desk are you using in your studio.. what is the name of it... or brand or model.. something i just want to find it.. thanks:)

I got the desk at Staples - the office store. I cant find it on their website now but the last time I was in the store (a few weeks ago) they still had it there. I think its like $99 so a pretty good buy imo.

Hey V ~ :D

Actually man I haven't done anything at all in a long long time.

I have been battling some pretty severe acid reflux over the past year or so. That on top of my 9-5 job (talking on the phone all day) has messed my voice up pretty bad. Without going into all the details, it has discouraged me so bad that I have not recorded anything because my voice is so weak. Been to the doctor, ENT specialist, speech pathologist and on some meds to try and clear it up.

It seems that it "may" be starting to get just a little better so I have had a glimmer of hope lately. :) I am trying to pick up the guitar and sing a song every day after work to start to build those vocal muscles again so we will see what happens.

Looking forward to doing some recording again though, but I first must crawl before walking hehe.

Will keep you posted man and hope things are going well for you my fellow cincinnatian ~
 
I feel for ya.. but if you would have hooked me up with some vocal coaching back when I asked you I could have carried on your legacy. ;)


Let me know if you're around and need some motivation.. we could always jam for some inspiration. :)
 
nice thanks cincy kid.. i will check it out.. and your studio looks great... i just recently got finished putting my studio together.. its real nice.. not all that big but its a good size for me.. im still learning on some things as well
