DIN plug located at back of unit and Manual indicates an "optional remote for pause". Anyone have insight on the 22-2 remote control? Thanks in advance for any info/thoughts.

:( Tascam 38 was working fine. Opened back panel and inadvertently let RCA cable rest on motherboard. Herard a faint "zzit" sound. Now have no input to all tracks, no output from tape on all tracks either. When I backfeed a tone signal into inputs the VU meters come up. HELP!

Will the RC-70 remote control work on a Tascam 22-4? The 22-4 manual says the RC-71 but I have not been able to find one. Thanks.

Is the RX-9 dBX model the only dBX NR unit that can be used with the Tascam 22-4? The 22-4 has a "control signal" input jack that interfaces with the RX-9 unit. Can a pair of dBX 150's or a DX-4D unit be used with the 22-4? Thanks for any advice you all can offer.
