this is how it went down...
i was using a pulgin in nuendo and i exited a plugin before it kinda loaded. nuendo crashed and i lost all conntivity with my rme hdsp9632...
now ive tried reinstalling the card and software multiple times and nothing is working... it says:

hi.. i will be using either a delta 1010 or a motu 828... i need a micpreamp to use for the 8 inputs (1/4 inch).. now. i was looking at the backs of these units.. how do i plug them into the 1/4 connectors on the delta or the motu?
btw which one does everyone prefere?

we just finished recording vocals for a song and then we did some harmony.. is there a way to eq them so they blend better with the lead vocals.. its the same singer who did both vocals. he sang them perfectly but as of now they are kinda seem seperate for each other. i want them to sound as ONE!
i did a drum track for this band i am recording and the ov er heads sound good but i was wondering if there was any thing that you should put on overheads. compression, noise gate.. reverbe? any thing..
they are a funk rock band and i used a pair of apex 190's
i already pan hard left and right...
i am micing drums and the stupid snare is rattleing and ive tried tape and it doesnt seem to help.. any ideas.. any body have a good way of going about this? also the first tom makes the snare rattle like crazy..
i am micing a drum set with the following:
sm57- snare
apex 125 - kick
apex 190 - over heads (2)
and its running in to a peavey mixer and out into a motu mk3
i do have room for 4 more mics but the drummer has 6 toms so i figure maybe even 3 overheads might be better for me?

i own the motu mk3 and i am awalys fidiling with the buffer rates.. what are they and whats the best setup for this:

i am not sure what the best buffer rate is.. i have it at 512 but i am not sure what that means...
i have a really fast computer brand new.. i have a motu mk3 and i am using nuendo..
i was just wondering what the best way to set this up is.. this card can sample upto 96 and 24bit soo i want...
