i just a bought a new carvin mixer to help me with the pre-amp need. since i've never used this can someone tell me what the "aux sends" and "returnes" are for? I have 6 auxualary sends and four sterio return. I also bought a headphone amy (6 outs). can i assign idividual outs to this as well?

I bought an old old Akai GX-2300 two track (reel to reel) recorder. It's pretty old. Every time I try to play back the recorder reel it plays backwards (or rather is sounds like being backwards. I've tried to change the sides but all I get is the reverse music. What am I doing wrong? Help

The input level is very weak when I try to record and when I play back the music the volume is very weak as well. Could anyone tell me what could be the problem? I've checked the volume level on my soundcard (DMAN 2044) and its on the maximum level. Thanks Nagaba
