The Yamaha's look pretty nice, I might get the one Andy suggested... As for the audio-buddy, my brother has that one and I wasn't impressed with it that much, my behringer sounded better imo. I'll keep looking, though. thanks for the help guys!
Hey guys. My Behringer UB1002 mixer recently bit the big one and I am considering buying a mic preamp to replace my mixer. I noticed the Studio Projects VTB-1 Mic Preamp and am wondering how this compares to the IMP's that the Behringer mixer had? Any input will be greatly appreciated!
ii'm a newbie, but the starter of this thread is a hipocrate (excuse the spelling), he yells about newbies posting all over, then post this bullshit topic in the mixing/mastering section? wtf is that about. i hate selfish people, im a newbie, but i share the little that i know. just because you...
lol, i never heard of anyone recording at 192KHz, but who knows! thanks for your help guys, reppin you both. btw, whats the quality difference between 16bit and 24 bit? is it anything like going from 8 bit to 16 bit? sorry, im a newbie... :p
i was thinkin of getting either the m-audio audiophile 192, but then I came across the E-MU 1212M. both look like excellent cards with 24/192 rates. I was leaning towards the E-MU 1212M because of the hardware accellerated effects. what should I buy?
thanks for the help guys. i think i'll go with either the delta 1010lt, or the audiophile 192 with a behringer mic preamp. thanks again for giving me your input! (repped you both)
if you have a 5.1 card, you can just use the multichannel encoder to place tracks into the spot you want them. once you have recorded all your tracks go to, 'view>multichannel encoder'
found some info on a forum i frequent:
BCF2000 101
In response to some emails and PMs I've prepared a step by step guide to getting started. Make sure you don't skip or add any steps.
Make sure the BCF firmware is updated to version 1.07. (Download bcf2000-107.zip from the behringer site...
hey guys, I was wondering if the M-Audio Delta 1010 LT will work with my copy of Adobe Audition 1.5 (cool edit). Will it still be able to route everything and have the hardware-based effects processing? Basically, will it do everything it's supposed to do, lol.
