try applying "normalization" to the wav/mp3 file. search your help files to find out if the software supports it.

Hey can anyone recommend a decent interface for a laptop? I've been using the motu 828 and it's been nothing but problems. I'd like to upgrade. I have firewire and usb2.0 capabilities. I'd really like 8 simult. track recording too...

i have the motu 828 and get jitters in my recordings, heres a link to a 10 second mp3. ive tried everything... and since im not going to buy a new laptop, or a mac... might have to sell the darn thing.... let me know if you find a solution in the mean time, maybe it will help me too...

hey, whats the best way for me to play my bass through my head, but to also record a line feed to a di box? I have an effect send loop on the back, is this a suitable signal? I've never gave it much thought. Any other input would be great... its a hartke 2000 head if it makes a difference

well the boss 1600 is gonna be twice the price, and if you have a good computer as you said, you dont really need all those computer-related features that you pay for on the boss, but it would be great to use standalone. i have the motu 828 mkI, paid like 400 on ebay for it. it works great...

isnt it strange that the static goes along with the music, sort of? If it were a bad cord there would be no coorelation. i've tried switching inputs with no luck. what is irq? interrupt request? i've had no experience with adjusting such settings. can anyone recommend help or a website...
