Dont most PRO mastering engineers Run the final mix thru analog SSLs, Tape Decks and stuff, so the whole damage when "dithering/downsampling" doesn't really matter?

Are you sure? I dont think basses just miced up, sound all "rugged" and "raw" like the track I posted...they usually sound very smoother when miced up...thats why i think its some kind of effect maybe.

Well I tink it depends what kind of engineer u r....in urban music, the goal is a compressed vocal.......because the music isn't as dynamic as other genres.

Like I see all different kind of synth patches like "leads" ETC but how does it get the name like "lead" what does it describe :confused:
