Why do people back up their projects on Hard Drives instead of DVD-R's :confused: assuming each songs sssion files are from 500MB-1GIG, then that means you could fit a whole album worth of material on Two or Three Disks... Currently, a PAck of 10 DVD-R's is only about 10$....so that about 40...

Can the ProTools HD, and TDM systems be used with Laptops? Like Are they USB,Firewire, PCI or PCMCIA?

Hey guys, I'm learning about audio programs,and I hear it's like 48 bit internal processing so theoryitically wouldnt it be better to first render an instrumental file, then a accapella file, then mix them together, rather than rendering a whole file from both at once :confused:

Hi guys, I have a song I'm currently working on, where I want the kicks at the begining to have no mids or highs , just bottom, and gradually the kicks mids go up then the kicks highs.This is for 2 bars.After that then everythings normal.I'm wondering how do I do this without doing it manually...
