    Program Changes on DBX Provocal

I'm having some trouble getting a DBX Pro Vocal processor to respond to MIDI messages sent from a Roland FC-200 foot controller. The FC-200 has been tested with other equipment and works fine, and I've actually tried this on two different Provocal units now with the same results: none. Whether...

Best Cheap Interface with BNC Connectors?

I'm looking for a very inexpensive interface card or box that can take a BNC Word Clock connection for syncing. I don't need anything with audio ins or outs as I already have preamps and AD/DA conversion conversion covered. All I really need is a way to sync up my existing converters to a good...

    Boss DR-660 MIDI Connector Problem

The "MIDI In" socket on a Boss DR-660 isn't performing reliably. Jiggling is required to get it to receive signal but it often disconnects again quickly. Opening the unit didn't reveal any obvious loose parts; can anyone suggest what the problem might be and a fix for it?

    Digi 001 Preamp Question

Inputs 1 and 2 on a Digidesign Digi 001 box are mic preamps but also have a -26 DB button for line inputs. My question is, when the button is pushed, is the preamp bypassed completely or is there just some subtractive process initiated?

    Behringer ADA8000 Problem

I just received a brand new Behringer ADA8000 I/O box and I cannot get it to stop clicking. It seems to click the least when I run it as a slave at 44.1 khz but even then, it still gives me at least two clicks per minute and is therefore unusable. I am running TOSLink cables on both the in and...

    Behringer B5 Problem

I have a Behringer B5 condensor mic with a major problem: there is an occasional (every five to ten seconds) tapping or popping sort of noise in its audio which seems to be coming from inside the mic body. (I. e., it's electrical or due to some internal defect.) Sometimes it's quiet but...
