I'll try to do a spontaneous youtube (off the cuff mix)..with everything all fired up, and I'll let you know when I post it,...the only thing is,..i've got this really crappy Tascam us-122 interface (old) that doesn't play well with my computer,..so, the audio would be recorded from a crappy digital camera.
I don't know how good it'll sound, but I'll give it a go-round and see what happens,...I'll let you know how I made out.
PS.- yeah, ..it does look more like the BORG ship,..now, that I look at it again:D

Awesome, can't wait to hear it! I've got a couple vids of some pretty crappy looping stuff on the 'tube and some tracks on myspace if you want to check them out

not so much a studio as a collection of crap that i keep in my house, but I still have fun!

This is my humble yet creepy and dingy and leaky basement practice studio. It is the product of several years of G.A.S. (Gear Aquisition Syndrome). Luckily I split the rent with my girlfriend and are therefore able to afford the occasional splurge.

Moved home a couple of months ago into a detached house in the middle of a field. Starting to get settled in and have had the studio up and running for a few weeks now. Great to finaly have a live room for acoustic drums, control room, vocal booth and seperate amp room.

UGH!!!!!
I just cleaned all of my recording equipment. Must have taken me 3 minutes.
Thought for a minute there that I was going to need a second Qtip.
WHEW!!!!!

Not to bad for a broke college student....I built this in High school before I started going to
school for audio engineering so really didnt know what I was doing....Im in the process of
redesigning and I got some more stuff AND a lava lamp!

I Manly use this as a rehearsal space but recently been doing alot of demo tape recordings to support my habit of toy buying

A basic stage of my studio. I still need more components but this is what I've pieced together so far. Mics and Monitors are on the way, as this is still in the early stages. :D

Specs: 2.7GHz Sempron 4GB DDR2, 160HD main XP Professional 320GB slave. Laptop is a Acer Aspire One Mini Netbook 1.6GHz 1GB and 160GB HD also on XP Home. Fostex 3030 Comp which I've had for years, as well as the tape deck from an old stereo system. Epiphone LP Jr & 100 with Ibanez Acoustic.

I'm in the process of treating the room but due to it's size and layout, I might have to opt for a portable solution. Will try and post a basic layout and see if anyone can give me some advice. It does have multi rooms and broken wall sections.
