I'm 57 years old. I'm also technologically savvy. I'm really fucking concerned about AI. I don't use chatbots, because I knew what the fuck they were. Every interaction with them is training them. So I've refused to show them when we are happy, when we are sad, or when we break. But god dammit. These "bands" that are so amazing and slick... and never existed. What do you think about all of this?

I can't believe it's been 12 years since I joined. I was at Ableton 8 back then. My life has been very busy since then and havent really done much with my investment. So, I upgraded to the latest version of Ableton and, since this is a "catchup" post, I'll just say, I'll be seeing you around

Also, I don't know how this would work through homerecording.com, but I would be happy to pay some kind of a per song fee, and of course a mixing (and mastering?) credit in the song credits.

I'm doing a lot of songwriting and arranging currently, so I'm intentionally trying not to focus too much on mixing.

Hi Nancy, I use the groove track feature of Logic to sync vocals, guitars, etc... There's videos on YouTube about using it. I will eventually have a channel where I will post mixing and mastering tricks.

Hello, need some help with Logic Pro, when I record guitar with a drum loop it does not sync with the beat. I know because when I do the same in garage band it IS in sync, so there is I suppose a setting in Logic that is set wrong that is causing this. Any ideas?

Hi ET, I like that new beat Need Your Love a lot. If I had a singer I know sing some phrases over it, as an experiment, would you be open to a possible collab to make it a song? The time frame would be, I wouldn't get anything from the singer for a month or 6 weeks from now. Let me know your thoughts.

All my stuff is recorded entirely by me at home on a Boss BR-800, using the inbuilt guitar effects, and guitar to bass etc. Occasionally use a Roland GR-55 for guitar to strings, brass, and other instruments.
