Tascam 388 Tape Machine to Computer?

I have an old Tascam 388 tape machine that I like to record on. I'm confused on how to go about getting the tracks off the tape machine and on to my computer though. Is there a way to correctly output the recorded tracks onto my computer? I don't have any special sound cards or anything, just a standard one like most computers. Is this even possible? I have a really neat acoustic track I would like to get over to the computer so I might spread it about the internet. But right now it's locked within the tape machine and I don't know how to get it out to the world. Anyone have any ideas?

If you want to mix it in the analog realm you need a 2-channel interface to capture your stereo mix. If you want to transfer the tracks individually and mix it in the computer you need an interface with as many channels as your deck. You don't need an interface with mic preamps, just line inputs. Examples would be the Delta 1010 or the MOTU 2488.
