Neo/MR5 monitor cables questions

I just got a pair of Mackie MR5's for my 2488 Neo, and they have inputs for either 1/4" TRS or XLR cables. Are there any pros/cons in using one or the other? I was thinking about trying these:

Either option is balanced, shouldn't really make a huge difference either way. I've got my KRK Rokit's connected via TRS cables and they sound fine, no noise or anything.
