464 portastudio problem

Hi everyone, im new here. Ive just recorded a cover of Black Sabbaths Planet Caravan on my old portastudio. I recorded the guitar solo on track four and for some reason it wont play back. The level display moves as it should but no sound. I cant remember this ever happening before. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Do you have the mic/line /tape switch set to tape for that track????
Good choice for a cover too!!!!

Yeah they're all in the right place. Ive tried the tape out for that channel, no luck. I even took it apart last night to look for loose wires and just got myself in a mess. It now has three less screws, no idea where they go! But it till works as good as it did before.
