Normal vs. Master Formating

In order to get more recording time with my FD-4 and Zip drive, I'm considering reformating in Normal Mode instead of Master 1 Mode. Honestly, does any one feel that the sound quality will be noticeably different at 33kh sampling vs. 44kh? I'm looking for opinions from those more experienced than I.
Thanks

Honestly,no, I don't think so. My band mates and I couldn't hear the difference. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that cdr's play 44.1 So, if you are going to mix down digitally via your s/pdif optical out into an optical input in a souncard you will need to convert somewhere along the line. Software like Sound Forge xp ($30.00) can do this or usually the software that comes with the souncard w/digital I/O can to. If you are just going out your Fostex's stereo RCA jacks
(analog) into the line in of your souncard don't worry about it. Although this is sonically inferior.
