Hi all,
Newbie here, but been using Fostex stuff for years, first with the FD-8, now for a while the D-160. Very happy with my D, never crashes, easy to use. Have wondered how hard it would be to move from the RCA ins/outs on the back to the balanced 1/4" TRS jacks? Worth the trouble/expense?
PS: another Q while I'm here. How come the D-160 doesn't seem to have the "preview" function the FD-8 had? By preview I mean it would repeatedly roll like 3 seconds or so of track and let you slowly move the edit point to find the precise location for punch in.
Thanks!
