Is it possible to delete a complete channel strip in the mixer ?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and hope to meet some friendly people here.

I'm using Logic 8 and want to tidy up the mixer in a particular project by deleting some redundant channel strips.

Is this possible ?

Thanks, SeaDream

I use Logic 5.1 which has that functionality.

To remove unnecessary channel strips, I go to the menu bar, select 'functions', then 'tracks', then 'delete unused' or 'delete redundant audio tracks'.

This may not be the same in Logic 8, but there will be something similar.

I have already deleted the tracks.

It's the redundant channels in the mixer- which belonged to the audio tracks - which I want to delete.

Sorry if I was unclear. Can someone now help ?

Thanks.

go to the arrange page and delete the track. the channel strip in the mixer will disappear, too.
