Skips and Jumps

I just wanted to let everyone know that I bought a new sound card (Sound Blaster Live) and everything works fine now. It must have been some kind of conflict with my previous sound card that was causing the skipping.

Whew! That didn't take long, did it? :) Good for you. The two big downsides of computer recording - non-portability, and problems that suck up loads of time that could be better spent writing, playing or getting it onto the CD.

I'm using a Wave 8/24, by the way, which you mentioned before. It's great - probably the strongest link in the whole signal chain.
 
Glad you got it running also. I'm going to guess that you had some sort of driver problem. But alas, if it's working it's working.
