tried Tap Tempo but...

after been doing fix-to-grid music for some time
i tried recording realplaying as taperecorder by rcording my own taptempo first
it's refreshing to see my playing fell away from the grid right now but the hardest part is when you make mistakes and wanna edit
becos the grids are not a reference now
So i wonder if i can change the grids of each bar to start and follow my tapped tempo?like having it place exactly on my beat
this would make it easier to edit

hmmm thats a good question...i haven't figured it out...i usually just scrap it or re do it again till i get it in sync wit the comp
