Sonar beats in drummap

Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to use the drum map with my own wav files? In fruity loops there's a nice sequencer but sonar's drum map seems to be limited to the beats/kits that it provides for it's drumkit.
Also, loading samples in track view and then making loops or something seems too complex.

Limited? The drum map is for MIDI tracks. You can send the MIDI information to any MIDI instrument.
 
Try creating a drum part in Cakewalk and convert it to midi.
You could then export it as a midi file and then open it in Fruity Loops.
You could then select which samples each of the midi notes trigger in Fruity Loops.

I haven't tried it and i'm not sure if that's what you're after so post back if this works or not.

just need to be able to make beats in sonar with my own samples

as the title suggests...that's what i want. how do people do it!? i don't have a keyboard just the software...
dbadds i tried your thing but I don't know how to export the beat as midi? also in fruity i'm not sure how to load sample files into each note...but that'd be so awesome.
basically how to load up wav beat files in sonar is my problem...
